تم تصميم جهاز التعقيم الرأسي- مجموعة MWV، للمستشفيات والعيادات الصغيرة، حيث تكون عملية تقطيع النفايات الطبية غير إلزامية. لأن مجموعة MWV تتمتع بقدرات للتخلص صغيرة للغاية، من 18 كجم إلى 36 كجم في الساعة. وبسبب هذا التصميم المدمج والعملي، فإن آلة مجموعة MWV تتطلب مساحة صغيرة للتركيب مع وجود بنية تحتية بسيطة للتشغيل. وبالتالي، يمكن معالجة النفايات الطبية الخطرة في المستشفى في الوقت المناسب دون حاجة للنقل وتجنب المخاطر الثانوية للعدوى.
